Receiving treatment for a blood cancer or blood disorder can mean spending weeks, and sometimes months, in hospital.
During that time, the ward becomes much more than a place for treatment. It becomes a place where patients recover, families visit, friendships are formed and hope is restored.
At LIBRA, we believe every patient deserves an environment that supports not only their physical health, but also their emotional wellbeing.

Our Goal
Our aim is to raise at least £250,000 to help create a new and expanded Ambulatory Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at King’s College Hospital.
As new treatments, including CAR-T cell therapy, become available to more patients, demand for specialist facilities continues to grow. The current unit has reached capacity, making expansion an essential part of preparing for the future.
This project will help ensure more patients can benefit from life-changing treatments in a modern, welcoming and purpose-built environment.
