Sign up to the EG10K (The Andy Ripley Memorial Race) on Sunday 26th September and enjoy a multi-terrain race on a mainly flat course, taking in scenic bridle paths around beautiful East Grinstead. The first 7km are off-road on well-surfaced bridleways and the final 3km are on residential roads. The route is well marshalled and has a water station at 5km.
The EG10k is a community event organised “for runners, by runners” with all proceeds going to East Grinstead Lions and Prostate Cancer UK. This year East Grinstead Lions are generously donating their funds raised to LIBRA!
The run is organised and supported by volunteers from the East Grinstead Triathlon Club and the East Grinstead Athletics Club who will provide friendly encouragement along the route. It attracts 300-400 competitors and caters for all abilities, from those looking to complete their first 10k, regular runners, and elite runners from athletics clubs who may be chasing the 2017 course record of 33:25 minutes.
Organisers provide: Chip timing, medical service, toilets, parking, on site motivation from Meridian FM and finish line catering by East Grinstead Lions!
All participants will receive a sustainably-sourced medal included in the entry price, plus category and spot prizes!
Race entry just £15 for affiliated, £17 for un-affiliated runners
The event is licenced by and run under the rules of UK Athletics (2021 provisional license no. 2021-39417). As you can appreciate, the way that the event is organised will be a bit different this year. UK Athletics has a very robust set of COVID-19 guidelines to ensure that the event will be as safe as possible for all involved.Sign Up
