Take on an unforgettable challenge in the stunning Southern Peak District with the Peak District Ultra Challenge® 2026. Based in the picturesque town of Bakewell, this popular event will welcome more than 3,000 adventurers ready to walk, jog or run through some of Derbyshire’s most spectacular countryside.
The full 100 km challenge follows a demanding and varied figure-of-eight route through the Peak District National Park, showcasing rolling hills, scenic trails and breathtaking views. There are also 50 km, 25 km and 10-mile options available, making the event suitable for all experience levels. Many of the routes pass the iconic Chatsworth House, adding even more highlights along the way.
Participants will benefit from full support throughout the weekend, including rest stops, hospitality and welfare services. Bakewell Basecamp offers camping, parking, transfers, a bar and a lively event atmosphere, ensuring an enjoyable experience both on and off the course.
