Take on an unforgettable challenge along one of the UK’s most spectacular coastlines with the South Coast Ultra Challenge® 2026. Set within the stunning South Downs National Park, this incredible event will see over 2,000 adventurers walk, jog or run across some of the country’s most iconic scenery.

Starting in Eastbourne, the full 100 km route climbs over Beachy Head and the breathtaking Seven Sisters before following the South Downs Way westwards, with sweeping sea views and rolling countryside throughout. Brighton marks the halfway point, before challengers continue past Devil’s Dyke and across the South Downs towards the historic town of Arundel and a memorable finish line celebration.

With 50 km and 25 km options also available, there is a challenge suitable for all experience levels. Participants will receive full support and hospitality throughout the event, including rest stops, food and drink, camping and optional transfers. Whether you are taking on your first endurance challenge or aiming for a new personal achievement, the South Coast Ultra Challenge® offers an inspiring and rewarding experience in one of Britain’s most beautiful landscapes.
