Register for the 2019 Go Kart Grand Prix
Battle and Villages Lions Club are encouraging registrations for their exciting Annual Go Karts Endurance Race on 1st September 2019. You can be part of this fantastic 2 hour endurance race for teams of four.
Last year they raised £350 for the Lions International Blood Research Appeal (LIBRA) and this year they hope to raise even more.
The high energy event will take place at the Campbell International Go Kart Circuit at Filching Manor, near Polegate. The competition is now open to teams of four and has been a popular event for many years.
In 2018, 22 drivers were divided into 11 teams of 2, with one brave 16-year-old girl who had no driving experience taking part. After a pre-race briefing a short qualifying race was held to determine pole and grid positions for the start of the one-hour endurance race. Each driver raced for 15 minutes before swapping with a team mate. A good start was followed by an exciting race in the excellent conditions on this demanding international circuit.
The twisting track, with only one straight, tests drivers’ skills and nerve to the full. Don’t miss out on the action this year! It costs just £50 per person to enter.
